2. Terms of Use

Purpose Cue Graph is a visual brainstorming tool that uses artificial intelligence to help you explore and connect ideas. You plant words on an interactive canvas, and AI models generate related concepts, bridges, and summaries to help you think. The app supports on-device AI models, local network AI (via LM Studio), and user-configured cloud AI APIs.

AI-Generated Content — No Guarantee of Accuracy or Originality All ideas, connections, labels, and text generated by Cue Graph are produced by AI language models and are provided for creative and exploratory purposes only. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, repetitive, inconsistent, or irrelevant. Nothing generated by the app constitutes professional advice of any kind — including but not limited to creative, strategic, legal, financial, or medical advice.

You are solely responsible for how you interpret, apply, or rely on any AI-generated content. You should independently verify any idea or information before acting on it in a professional, commercial, or critical context.

We make no representation that AI-generated ideas are novel, original, or free from similarity to existing works.

Your Content and Input You are responsible for anything you type or enter into Cue Graph. Do not enter confidential, sensitive, or personal data about yourself or others, especially when using a cloud AI provider, as that text will be sent to a third-party service outside our control.

Third-Party AI Providers Cue Graph allows you to connect your own AI API key (e.g. OpenAI or a compatible provider). When you do so, the words and graph context you create are transmitted to that provider's servers. We have no control over how those providers process, store, or use your data. You are responsible for reviewing and accepting the terms of service and privacy policies of any third-party AI provider you choose to connect.

Your API key is stored locally in your device's Keychain. We do not have access to it, nor do we transmit it to our own servers. However, you are solely responsible for any usage, costs, or charges incurred through your API key.

On-Device Model Downloads Cue Graph can download large AI language model files (GGUF format, approximately 3–5 GB) directly from HuggingFace to your device for on-device inference. You are responsible for any data transfer or storage costs this may incur, including mobile data charges. These models are stored on your device and are not transmitted to us.

Local Network Access When using the LM Studio integration, Cue Graph connects to a local AI server running on your own network (e.g. your Mac). No data leaves your local network in this mode. You are responsible for the security of your local network environment.

Camera and Photo Library Cue Graph requests camera access solely for the AR (augmented reality) walk-through mode. Photo library access (add only) is used solely to save graph images as wallpapers when you explicitly request it. These permissions are never used for any other purpose.

iCloud Sync Board data may optionally sync across your devices via iCloud. This service is managed entirely by Apple. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

Disclaimer of Warranty The app is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or that the app will function without interruption or error.

Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of ideas, data, business opportunities, or revenue — arising from your use of or inability to use Cue Graph or any AI-generated content produced by it. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app.

Governing Law These Terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will be handled by the competent courts of the Netherlands.

3. Privacy Policy

Data Collection We take your privacy seriously. Cue Graph does not collect, store, or transfer any personal data to us or any third parties. All your graph data, ideas, and boards are stored locally on your device and — if enabled — synced via Apple's iCloud service under Apple's own privacy policy.

AI Inference and Your Data

• On-device mode: All AI inference runs locally on your device. Your ideas and words never leave your device.
• LM Studio mode: Your graph text is sent to an AI server on your own local network. No data leaves your network.
• Cloud API mode: Your words and graph context are sent to the third-party AI provider whose API key you have configured (e.g. OpenAI). Please review that provider's privacy policy. We do not receive or store this data.

Developer Log The app stores a local debug log of recent AI interactions (including prompts and responses) on your device for troubleshooting purposes. This data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us.

Usage Data The app may automatically collect limited, non-personal usage data such as crash logs, device model, and operating system version. This data does not personally identify you and is handled by Apple's systems under Apple's own Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Services Cue Graph does not use analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or tracking tools.

App Store Apple may collect basic usage and purchase data under their own Privacy Policy.
